Photo shows amazing scenery of Namsto Lake. It is a mountain lake on the border between Damxung County of Lhasa Prefecture and Baingoin County of Nagqu Prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
Located in the northwest of Diebu County of Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Gannan, Zhagana means “stone casket” in Tibetan. The major landform in Zhagana is ancient glacial landform. The village down the mountain is very beautiful.
Farmers pick Chinese wolfberries, also know as Goji, in Zhongning County, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Aug. 21. The planting area of Chinese wolfberry in the county increased about 133 hectares this year, reaching 60,000 hectares. Chinese Wolfberries are supposed to contain more beta-carotene, a type of antioxidant, than carrots. Antioxidants may have anti-aging and cancer-fighting effects.
A unique scene of "Yin-Yang river" is seen in Shaoxing, east China's Zhejiang Province. Inside of the wall is the East Lake scenic area where the water is relatively clear and greenish, while behind the wall runs the muddy water from the East Zhejiang ancient canal section of the famous Yellow River.
The remains of the Xiushui Pagoda, built in the 16th century, are seen in Shanghe Village of Huangbai Township, Dexing, east China's Jiangxi Province,Nearly half of the Pagoda has collapsed but the remaining structure still stands on its base, attracting hundreds of tourists per day. Locals say the pagoda's partial collapse occurred at least a century ago. A preservative renovation is planned by local authorities.
