Once every year a news bulletin called “the World’s Best News” hits the streets of Denmark. The bulletin is an initiative by the UN, Danish International Development Assistance (DANIDA) and Danish development organisations with the aim of conveying information to the Danes on outstanding results in the field of development cooperation.
As part of the campaigns three success cases are showcased as posters on the front wall of the Danish Foreign Ministry in Copenhagen. Again and for the second year in a row one of the success cases are from Bangladesh. The success being improved livelihood for 4 million Bangladeshi facilitated by Danish support to the development of freshwater aquaculture.
