Tourism is a service base industry. To provide service there need service provider and these service providers are human resources for tourism industry. Most of the industry are now depends on technology for various purposes and tourism industry is not difference from them. But at the field of service providing, there are no alternative of skill human resources to provide service properly to the tourists. So human resources of tourism industry are not same like other industry. They have to contain some special characteristics among them to make satisfy the tourists. Human resources of tourism industry are like brand ambassador of a country, because they represent culture, attitude, behavior and hospitality of a country as well as a nation. So they need special education and training about tourism and hospitality industry which can make them more skilled and professional for the industry to provide better service to the tourists and also represent their country properly.

Golf resort: negatively impact on environment.

Generally we seem that golf course is very environment friendly. Here and there in golf resort is green, calm and quiet, lots of trees are also there. But reality is not neat and clean as the external condition. Golf resort is very popular tourist’s destination especially among the rich people. So the number of golf resort has grown rapidly worldwide only for commercial reason. Golf resort is a tourist’s attraction and a country’s tourism industry can earn healthy revenue from golf tourism. The project of establishing a golf resort is beneficial from commercial view, but a golf resort  create a bad impact on environment ,such as-Golf courses require an enormous amount of fresh water every day to maintenance  and this can result in water scarcity. If the water comes from wells, over pumping can cause saline intrusion into ground water. Golf resorts are more and more often situated in or near protected areas where resources are limited, exacerbating their impacts. An average golf course in tropical country such as Thailand need 1500 kg chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides per year and uses as much water as 60,000 rural villagers. So we need think about the negative impact of Golf resort. We have no right to destroy the environment and water resources only for generate some revenue or only for entertainment of a few rich people. Now every nation is conscious about environmental issues and trying to keep the environment pollution free and also preserve the ecological balance. So, I request to all the nations and their authority to think about the bad impact of Golf resort and take proper steps to reduce the fresh water depletion and other environmental hazards.
